I’m not really sure what to say about this one…it drew inspiration from many different places…

I’d been reading :iconavocadolove: AvocadoLove’s Another Brother…and then flipped onto the Disney Channel where American Dragon: Jake Long was on. Now as every good Avatard knows, Dante Basco voices both the shows titular character and Avatar’s Prince Zuko, just as I’m sure every good Avatard knows, Keone Young voices both Jake’s grandpa Luong Lao Shi and Aang’s first firebending teacher, Jeong Jeong.

Now…Zuko and Jeong Jeong barely shared breathing space in Avatar…BUT, seeing as how Zuko’s been adopted by Hakoda and is part of the Water Tribe in Another Brother, and has been part of the gAang from the very beginning, the chances of Jeong Jeong being for Zuko what Pakku was for Katara is pretty high.

And through this combination of factors this little brain fart of art was born…the meeting of Avatar characters, in American Dragon style, in a scene from an alternate reality fanfiction that hasn’t happened yet.

Or something like that…

Wow! That's so cool! I can actually see Zuko and Jake Long overlapping. Same with Jeong Jeong and Lao Shi.

Wow! Thank you so much for drawing this! I love the American Dragon style.

You know, this works on so many levels -- Jeong Jeong giving a paranoid look to Zuko, Zuko looking ticked off, and poor Aang caught between them.

I am almost, almost to that ep, but this makes me want to write it now! :D

Thanks again for drawing this! Do you mind if I pimp a link to it in my next chapter?

Of course not...I pretty much drew it for you...I'm just glad you like it :D

I might do some of the other characters...Toph and Sokka would fit Trixie and Spud so well...seeing as I've already used Gramps I was thinking the Dragon Council Member who looks and sounds like Sean Connery for Iroh...Kara and Sara (the Oracle twins) would be good for Mai and Ty Lee...I don't know yet which way you're leaning with Katara...she could be Rose (as some of your reviewers seem to think it's heading...and there IS the voice thing again), she could be Haley (even though I based Aang on Haley...they're both annoyingly perfect)...guess we'll all have to wait and see...

Thanks...I had an idea for when Zuko meets Aunt Wu in that universe too...might draw it sometime...

Love this to bits, but I'd also like to see how you'd draw WT Zuko in your "normal" style...

And don't forget one more. The voice for Katara, Mae Whitman, also provided the voice of Jake's love interest Rose. Love the picture.

Love this. Jeong Jeong and Zuko in the same place at the same time? Oh the negative energy! WaterTribe!Zuko is strangely acceptable to my 'whatttt?' mind, and Jeong Jeong is well. Jeong Jeong. Aang makes for a lovely little ball of happy, too.
